1. Who we are

Lynxy is an anonymous, algorithm-free social media platform. Our goal is to let people share thoughts freely — without profiles, follower counts, or personalisation.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: your email address, used only for authentication via Google or Apple sign-in. We never store passwords.
• Posts: text you publish. All posts are attributed to "Anonymous" — your name is never displayed.
• Likes: we store a record of which posts you liked and when, solely to enforce the 24-hour cooldown. This is never shown to other users.

3. What we don't collect

We do not build user profiles, track browsing behaviour, sell data to third parties, or run targeted advertising.

4. How we use your data

• To authenticate your account.
• To enforce the one-post-per-24-hours and one-like-per-24-hours limits.
• To display post content to other users (anonymously).

5. Data retention

Your posts are displayed anonymously and are not linked to your identity publicly. A private, server-side record links posts to your account solely for account deletion purposes — this is never visible to other users. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which permanently removes your account, likes, and all posts you have created.

6. Third-party services

Lynxy is built on the Base44 platform, which handles authentication and data storage. We also use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications, which may process a device notification token and limited technical information required to deliver those notifications. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data including your posts, use the account deletion option in your profile settings.
